Where the magic of delicious Pinot Noir happens.....

“It doesn’t matter if the glass is half empty or half full, there is clearly
room for more wine.......”

The Pinot Noir grapes from 'The Quarters' Vineyard have been highly sought after since they were planted three decades ago.
Grown in a certified organic vineyard, the grapes are carefully nurtured to their full potential which is, in turn, reflected in their depth of  flavour.
In 2016 a  Quarters Vineyard  Pinot Noir single vineyard vintage was launched with impressive reviews from New Zealand's leading wine critics.
We, of course were thrilled. Especially a much prized  95/100 on its first outing from the late Raymond Chan  and then a 94/100 by highly acclaimed international wine critic James Suckling for our 2017 vintage. ! And it really does taste very, very good !
Our newest vineyard, the '5th Quarter' was created in 2016 and we got the first grapes from it in 2019. They are proudly part of the fabulous Novum Pinot Noir and , we can vouch that it is sensational!

The Marlborough Wine Story - we're in great company!

Today Marlborough is recognised as one of the premium wine regions of the world.  New Zealand’s leading wine region, Marlborough draws international acclaim that far outweighs its size. In the span of just a few decades winemakers have embraced this small, yet geographically diverse region, exploring the uniqueness offered by its landscape to craft exhilarating flavours in many different wine styles.
Although highly regarded worldwide as the home of Sauvignon
Blanc, we are proud that high quality Pinot Noir also has pride of place in this great region.
There are over 48 wineries in Marlborough - your problem will be how to visit as many as you can in the time you have available. This fun interactive wine trail map will help !
